Moms Club Mission Statement

The mission of the Adum Moms Club is to foster a sense of community and friendship among the families of Adum K-8 through social events and activities. While we are primarily a social organization, Adum Moms Club members will also support the school’s PTSA, Foundation, students, and faculty as needed throughout the year. We may also selectively engage in initiatives that support our school’s students and teachers. Membership to the Adum Moms Club is free and open to all mothers and guardians of students at Adum K-8.

WELCOME BACK, AVIATOR MAMAS!

We hope you all had a great summer break and feel recharged as we get ready to soar into another successful year at Adum PreK-8!

Our first year as a new school and as a new club with no framework in place taught us a lot of lessons, and the biggest one was to keep this club SOCIAL. That was the intention from the very beginning, so we are sticking to our roots as we continue to build a strong school community,and hopefully give you an opportunity to make new friends.

Our social chairs, Laura Fender and Tricia Boucek, are planning some exciting events for you this year. This is a great place to stay up-to-date on our events, along with the Adum Moms Club Facebook Group and joining our email list. (Keep scrolling to see what's been announced so far!)

A few updates about what to expect in 2025: Instead of a monthly happy hour at a restaurant, we may host a different type of event, like a group workout session or even dinner. Details are still coming together, but we will share updates here and on the Adum Moms Club Facebook group once event dates are finalized.

Here are a few more things we are working on and will announce soon:

Walk & Talk Wednesdays: Get your extra steps in while connecting with fellow Adum mamas. This activity is inspired by the Jesuit Mother's Club and will be hosted once a month to start, as we gauge popularity.
Adum Moms Club Trunk-or-Treat: It's baaack and we're hoping it will be bigger and better than last year! We will be forming a committee to assist with planning, so keep this in mind as a fun way to volunteer alongside some amazing mamas and the Dads Club.

A lot of work goes into planning our social events, so I want to send an extra BIG THANK YOU to Laura F. and Tricia B. for their creativity and dedication to our school community. And THANK YOU for taking the time to explore our little slice of the internet. We can't wait to see you soon!

Adum Moms club social Kickoff

Come join us at the Adum Moms Club Kickoff Social for a fun-filled evening of mingling, laughter, and making new friends! We'll be meeting at Chuck Lager Tavern in the Westshore Marina District on Tuesday, August 26 from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm. Adum moMs CLub Walk & Talk

We're launching a new way to connect this year, thanks to some inspiration from the Jesuit Mother's Club! The first Walk & Talk will meet at the school as we gauge interest. We may walk around the school, the neighborhoods...either way, we're taking steps together!
