The Studio of South Tampa
The Studio of South Tampa is a one-of-a-kind performance space offering piano and guitar lessons, musical theatre classes, and vocal training. Nestled in the heart of South Tampa, it is owned and operated by the acclaimed Grammy Award-nominated music educator, Mrs. Ernesta Chicklowski. Backed by a powerhouse team of talented and experienced educators, The Studio combines expertise, passion, and creativity to inspire every student to explore their musical potential and express themselves artistically. The After School Camp at Friendship Park
Hosted by the City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Department, this the camp is completely free, making it accessible to families across the community. Designed for youth aged 5 to 12, the program encourages growth in all areas—physical, emotional, social, and intellectual—through engaging activities that promote play, exploration, and learning. To participate, children must have a Rec Card membership, and parents should note that separate registration is required for non-school days and holiday camps. Peninsular Prep
Located just next door to Adum, this after-school care option is open until 5:30 pm. It focuses on creative thinking, problem-solving, STEAM education, and hands-on learning. Click here for more information.
The Goddard School
Transportation to the Kennedy Blvd location and snacks are provided, in addition to homework help, movement, and music lessons, with dismissal at 6 pm. Click here for more information.
O2B Kids South Westshore
This option is about a block from Adum and is currently accepting enrollment for K-5. Click here for more information.
Martial Arts Advantage
Students participate in daily Tae Kwon Do, including snack and homework time. They are supervised by well-trained staff, including Hillsborough County teachers, USF education students, and a long-term, caring team with a low ratio, device-free zone, and is open and cheerful. Students are picked up directly from school and open until 6 pm. In addition to the regular daily afterschool pick-up, they will do a second round of student transportation following clubs on M/W/F! Traditional TaeKwon-Do of South Tampa
Students are picked up from school daily by van and transported to the program location on Henderson Blvd. Click here for more information.
Club J After School Program at JCC
Students are picked up from school daily by van and transported to the program location on Henderson Blvd. Club J's schedule will include team-building activities, homework help, snack time, and various enrichment programs. Students will experience a different enrichment activity every day. They are open until 6 pm. Click here for more information.
