About the Lost and Found Committee

Our Lost and Found Committee is a dedicated group of parent volunteers who work to reunite students with their missing belongings. We know how frustrating it is when something goes missing, and our goal is to make the process of getting it back as easy as possible.

Once a week, our committee members organize and sort all the items left in the school's Lost and Found area.

What We Do

  • Return Labeled Items: If an item is clearly labeled with a student's name, we will place it in a bag and leave it in the cafeteria for the student to pick up.

  • Organize Unlabeled Items: Unlabeled items are sorted and neatly organized in the Lost and Found bin.

  • Share Weekly Updates: We post a weekly update with photos of unclaimed items on the Adum Parent Page. Be sure to join the group to see what's in the Lost and Found.

  • Monthly Donations: At the end of each month, any unclaimed items are donated to local schools and organizations in need.

How to Claim an Item

  • Students can claim their items during lunch or at other times as permitted by their teacher.
  • Parents can claim items after school is dismissed. Please enter through the main office and walk to the cafeteria. The Lost and Found area is located in the cafeteria next to the water fountains.

How You Can Help

The best way to ensure your child's belongings make it back to them is to label everything! Please write your child's first and last name on all jackets, lunchboxes, water bottles, and other personal items. This simple step makes a huge difference and allows us to get things back to their rightful owners quickly.
